Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati is one of the best and renowned breast oncologists and oncoplastic surgeons in Hyderabad, and currently associated with AIG Hospital. Her goal is to bring awareness about breast cancer amongst women in India, and to introduce the concept on Oncoplasty. She wishes to provide women with breast cancer, an option for breast conservation with reconstructive surgery.

- Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati completed her MBBS from the prestigious Sri Ramachandra Medical College, Chennai in the year 2012, and MS – General Surgery from the same college in the year 2015.
- During this period, Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati became a member of the prestigious Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, UK. (MRCS) and acquired international standards in surgical skills. Due to her passion towards research and evolving medicine, she pursued the Homi Bhabha National Institute (HBNI) Breast Oncology Fellowship at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai in 2018.
- Dr. Pragnya Chigurupati received the UHNM Breast Oncoplasty Fellowship, from Royal Stoke University Hospital, Stoke-on-Trent, United Kingdom, the following year.

- Winner of quiz- “Navigating clinical conundrums in breast cancer”- Mumbai Oncology Association- Represented Tata Memorial Hospital-Mumbai-2016.
- Won 3 awards for presentations on case reports of Gastro-intestinal stromal tumor, Chordoma and Heterotopic Pancreas conducted in the Department of General Surgery in SRMC.
- Conducted blood donation camps in the year 2012 and 2015 in association with Red Cross India over 7 different locations with over 250 and 500 volunteers respectively.

- Worked as Research Fellow in the Department of Breast Oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital for 3 months in the year 2016.
- Worked in the Department of Surgical Oncology for 6 months in Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Hyderabad. 2015-2016.
- Did observership for 2 weeks in the Department of Vascular Surgery in New York University, New York in the year 2012.
- Did observership for 1 month in the Department of Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery, Sunshine Hospitals, Hyderabad in the year 2012.
- Did internship for 6 months in Gandhi Medical College, Hyderabad in the year 2011.
